This is gorgeous, and when I wear it I feel great in it. I am older with a bit of a tummy so I ordered a larger size than I might have normally gotten. It doesn't fit me tight across the hips there is a tiny 'skirt' but that is pretty and flattering. There is a zipper in the back, but enough stretch that you can zip it and pull it up by yourself without embarrassing gymnastics.
The garters are sturdy, and hold the stockings that I was wearing firmly without too much of a struggle to get them straight.
